Decorative Smoked Bowl 
Smoke-fired decorative bowl, originally thrown by hand on the pottery wheel. This work, includes beautiful, smoked horse hair, feather markings and sugar. This piece was inspired by the Navajo Indians, who used horsehair on pottery as a traditional art form. To create this unique ceramic decoration, I have applied materials onto burning hot piece, to create organic and interesting designs into the clay. Celebrating the raw bond between myself and nature.
